Mark Snow, Chief Executive Officer
Mark is an attorney and has been a founding executive of five start-ups.
Mark has been an innovator throughout his career. He has created many new products for his clients by combining his knowledge of law, business strategy, and marketing with his well honed listening skills. In fact, SafelyFiled grew out of a combination of Mark's work with insurance agents and his and his friends' experiences trying to manage their elderly parent's affairs — all while actively helping their children through high school and college, handling their own families' legal and financial issues, and working to advance their own careers.
Mark has a BA from Marquette University and a JD from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago – Kent College of Law.
John Dore, Chief Operating Officer
Paralleling an insurance career spanning 39 years, John has recently taken on the task of Chief Operating Officer of SafelyFiled. He comes by his technology experience as a user and purchaser of IT systems. John was CEO of several publicly traded property and casualty insurance holding companies. For the last 9 years, he has been involved in the insurance and reinsurance field as an arbitrator, mediator and board member.
John has an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BA from Yale University.
He remembers when faxes were the breakthrough technology!
Terri Caldwell, Chief Technology Officer
Terri most recently spent 13 years with Cisco Systems in various roles to include Program Manager, Software Engineering Manager and Lead Test Engineer on various Cisco security products. Prior to that she served as a trainer and Network Security Operations Center Technician with a start up company called WheelGroup and a UNIX System Administrator support specialist for the U.S. Federal Court System.
Terri’s technical knowledge and leadership skills came from activity pursuing these types of roles and educational opportunities while serving in the United States Air Force. She retired from military service in 1995. Along with serving as our CTO, she also chairs the Technology Council for a non-profit organization that provides homes for orphaned and impoverished children.
Susan Hinrichs, PhD, Chief of Engineering
Susan spent the past 8 years lecturing on computer security at the University of Illinois in addition to working with Network Geographics, Inc. At Network Geographics, Susan has been involved in security analysis and development projects for a number of clients. In the last year she designed and developed the security architecture for SafelyFiled.
Susan earned a PhD from Carnegie Mellon University in 1995 studying communication optimization techniques for parallel systems. After graduation, she joined Global Internet Software Group and was one of the architects of Centri Firewall. At Cisco systems until 2005, she led efforts in policy-based security management with the Cisco Security Policy Manager and Firewall Management Center.
Carol Marino, Member Support Manager
Carol began her career as an IT mainframe programmer at Publix Super Markets. She later moved into the Banking industry with Planters Bank where she was Assistant Vice President and Team Leader over the IT Delivery Group. She also worked with IT Audit to build and develop the IT Quality Assurance team. Later, she moved to Irwin Union Bank where she held the Helpdesk Team Leader position.
Her experience in IT, QA testing of software changes with focus on the needs and expectations of the customer and helpdesk management has been instrumental in preparing her for her current role at SafelyFiled.
R. Dean Conlin, SafelyFiled Advisor
Dean is currently of counsel to the law firm of Locke Lord LLP where he has practiced law since 1975, first as an associate and then for 30 years as an equity partner. Dean's practice focuses on corporate, transactional and regulatory matters for entities in the insurance industry.
Prior to his affiliation with Locke Lord, Dean served for four years in the U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps. Dean received a J.D. from the Harvard Law School and an A.B. from the University of Illinois.
John "Jack" H. Weber, Jr., SafelyFiled Advisor
Jack is the Executive Vice President of Credentials Solutions in Northfield, IL. Credentials Solutions provides a suite of online services for Colleges and Universities as well as Municipalities. Jack joined the Credentials Solutions’ senior management team in 1997, shortly after the founding of Credentials Inc. Prior to his involvement with Credentials, Jack was a Regional Vice President of Sales for an internationally acclaimed scoreboard manufacturer that specialized in the design, fabrication and installation of custom-built displays for schools and large public entertainment facilities.
As the head of Marketing and Sales, Jack has been responsible for the successful marketing and deployment of the entire product line for Credentials Solutions and has established key relationships within the technology sector supporting student information systems within Higher Education.
Jack is a 1974 graduate of Yale University.
